Procurement

Spectral Response has deployed a sophisticated procurement process that has its roots in our desire to be fast, efficient and timely.  We use our main ERP system for all production needs and planning. The process starts with an electronic quoting tool that automatically disseminates quotes to all our trading partners.  Quotes are typically completed within a week and partial responses can be completed within hours.  Our procurement activity is all based on an EDI platform that was custom built by Spectral Response. This allows us the ability to quote quickly and place orders on the supply chain quickly, but equally as important is our capability to offer best possible pricing. We aggressively manage inventory and its availability to our customers. Our purchasing group leverages our purchasing power to get the best possible price, and in most cases those prices are equal to if not better than other markets around the world.  We deploy best-in-class systems for consignment, bonding and supply chain logistics to make inventory available quickly for our customers.
