On behalf of the employee owners of Spectral Response, thank you for this opportunity to introduce you to Spectral Response, Inc... It is our sincere belief that we provide integrated solutions to all our customers with the ultimate goal of forging lasting, and mutually beneficial business relationships. Our business relationship with our customers, suppliers and employees are based on trust and longevity, giving us a unique ability to service our customers with a long term focus and not on short term gain.Our company has seen sustained and lasting growth over the last 7 years, which has been contrary to the contract manufacturing market in general. What makes Spectral Response different is our long term approach combined with our focus and desire to compete on a global scale. We focus on the unique needs of our customers, especially the details to make them successful, and deploy processes and systems to improve their time to market and to make them competitive on a global stage. Internally we focus on markets and customers we know well and can provide world class service. We strive for continuous process improvements that will make us efficient, fast and nimble.
Offshore manufacturing markets are certainly a real competitive threat to all of us in the manufacturing sector, but we believe that Spectral Response holds a significant competitive advantage over these regions, in the markets we serve. Our systems are designed for flexibility, scalability and cost avoidance. We find that being able to turn prototypes quickly (3-5 days) and allowing for fast and frequent schedule changes make us competitive against low cost markets. We have also deployed sophisticated purchasing and logistic systems that enable us to be price competitive with offshore markets. One final note that makes us competitive is the protection of intellectual property. Because all of systems are managed locally customers should feel secure that we have very robust systems for protecting intellectual property. In the end, we are focused on the on-shore manufacturing market, as opposed to an offshore provider. We find that our model of a solutions provider not just a manufacture brings great value to most customers, but without a sacrifice to the bottom line. When you consider total cost of acquisition, in a head to head price comparison that takes into account transportation and flexibility costs, our onshore supported solution is not more expensive, it is more cost effective and efficient!
