Lead-Free/ROHS

Spectral Response has tried to take a leadership role in the lead-free manufacturing and ROHS initiative. We have tools to identify components that are ROHS compliant and those that are not yet ready. We are able to give you alternatives to non-compliant components within hours. This assumes, however, the manufacturers on your bill of material of have supplied ROHS data to the
general market.

Our manufacturing process has been tested and proven to be robust. We have built lead-free boards for customers, all with positive results. The entire production group has been trained on all the IPC specifications for lead-free manufacturing.

Customers that have needs for both lead-free and leaded manufacturing can also use Spectral Response. Almost all of our accounts have a need for both processes. For this reason we will be able to build products that are destined for regions of the world where the lead-free initiative is important and for those areas where it is not.
